Dahlia Equity Partners Announces Strategic Spin-out of Ticketure

Los Angeles, CA – July 28, 2025 TixTrack, Inc. and Dahlia Equity Partners, L.P. are pleased to announce a strategic transaction through which the Ticketure business has been acquired by Dahlia Equity Partners. The newly formed entity, Ticketure LLC, will operate as a standalone company focused exclusively on SaaS ticketing solutions for museums, zoos, aquariums, gardens, attractions, and immersive experiences.

This milestone reflects a natural evolution of both businesses’ growth and reinforces a shared commitment to delivering tailored, industry-specific solutions. TixTrack will continue to serve the theatrical and performing arts markets through its flagship reserved seating platform, Nliven, while Ticketure will focus on timed entry and general admission ticketing across the cultural attractions space.

"This spin-out is a key milestone for Ticketure," said Steven Sunshine, CEO and Co-Founder of TixTrack and newly appointed CEO of Ticketure LLC. "We are very pleased with the confidence that our clients have placed in us to help manage a critical part of their business. With this transition, we are excited to be able to focus exclusively on the needs of our current Ticketure clients and to accelerate our investment in technology and products for the markets we serve. With the support of Dahlia Equity Partners, we are ready to continue delivering the innovation that our current and future clients need."

Ticketure currently supports an impressive roster of clients including Meow Wolf, Denver Botanic Gardens, Philadelphia Zoo, Fine Arts Museums of San Francisco, and Tennessee Aquarium. Its mobile-first design and seamless membership integration provide a modern, efficient solution for today’s visitor experience.

As a result of the spin-out, Sean Free, previously TixTrack’s Chief Operating Officer, has been appointed CEO of TixTrack. “This is an exciting new chapter for both companies,” said Free. “With this transition, TixTrack will sharpen its focus on the reserved seating and live entertainment space, providing first-class products for its clients around the world. We're energized to continue supporting our clients with intuitive tools that enhance both patron engagement and operational performance.”

TixTrack and Ticketure remain aligned in their vision of modernizing ticketing experiences across industries, and both companies will continue to prioritize innovation, user experience, and operational excellence in their respective markets.

John Giannuzzi, Managing Partner at Dahlia, added, “Ticketure is a prime example of why we founded Dahlia. They’re a clear leader in SaaS-based general and time-based ticketing solutions and we see significant opportunity for both Ticketure and its customers. We’re excited to continue the product enhancement to drive greater strategic value to new and existing customers.”

JD Ardell, Managing Partner at Dahlia, added “We’re thrilled to partner with Steven and the rest of the Ticketure team at this exciting stage of their journey. We are impressed by their incredible platform and the deep customer relationships they’ve built over the past decade. We look forward to supporting them and work with Steven and his team on strategic and operational initiatives to achieve their vision.”
